Do you know how valuable you are? Do you see value in yourself? Today, I want to encourage you to see how valuable you are and nothing can cause you to lose your value. Too often, many appraise themselves on what they do or on how others see them. Some even determine their worth on the type of circumstances they experienced. However, that will not be your story. In the eyes of Jesus, you are worth everything and so much more. It is not based on what you do or your circumstances. Today, I want to empower you to see the value that Jesus sees in you by sharing three things that make you valuable.

1. You are valuable because you are destined! You were not born by chance. You were born on purpose and with intention. You were created with a destiny. In creating you, God took the time to think and plan out your life. In addition, He created you with the hope of you experiencing a fun and fulfilled life. I say all this to prove how valuable you are. I want to encourage you to see you are destined and your life has been planned out. Allow your self esteem to arise and be confident about your existence and future.

2. You are valuable because you are made in His image and likeness! I love Psalm 8. I encourage you to meditate on this passage of scripture. It shows you that God has His mind on you in the midst of every created thing. While mankind is in awe of nature and gives respect to angels, God is fascinated with you. Why? King David says in Psalm 8:5, “And You have crowned him with glory and honor.” This scripture is speaking about how you have been made in His image. It then goes on to the next verse declaring how you have His likeness by having dominion. All these things declare your value. As you live this wonderful life, remind yourself about Psalm 8. Appreciate your face. Celebrate your attributes. Enjoy your talents.

3. You are valuable because Jesus desires to dine with you! Revelation 3:20 – “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Jesus comes to you first because He wants to be with you. He loves you for who you are and who you are becoming. He initiates this relationship based on how He sees you, valuable! Don’t believe the lies of the enemy. One of the most common lies is, “You did this! God sees you less now and is hiding His face from you!” Because of the cross and the precious blood of Jesus, God will never see you less than. He will always think highly of you with precious thoughts.

I want to end with this. Always see yourself for what you are truly worth. Never allow debilitating thoughts to come in and seduce you. Since God is thinking highly of you, then you should think highly of yourself. Say to yourself, “I’m worth it. I’m of great value. I’m not a statistic, I’m the glory of God. I’m not susceptible to anything. I only receive good things for my mind, body and life.”
