Have you ever thought about “throwing in the towel?” Have you ever felt like you couldn’t take anymore? Well, welcome to the club. We’ve all been there and have come to the place where we’ve said, “I’ve had enough!”

The way I look at it, being fed up is not a bad thing. It’s a catalyst for change. Change is a key to breaking out of frustrating circumstances. When you change, you become something you were not. Let’s look at some steps you can take to end frustration in your life:

1. Dedicate yourself to change.
Life demands change. Please don’t waste your life doing the same things the same way and expecting different results. When you dedicate yourself to change, life starts looking different.

2. Deal with the hard stuff.
This means you’re going to have to take some time to think about what’s causing your frustration and deal with it. This is not always fun, but it’s necessary for breakthrough.

3. Distance yourself from people, places and things that are the source of your frustration.
There were four lepers that asked themselves a question that you need to ask yourself when you’re in frustrating circumstances and tolerating things you shouldn’t tolerate. They asked themselves, “Why are we sitting here until we die?” As the story goes, they got up and left the place they were sitting. Will you get up and say goodbye to the cause of your constant letdowns? If you do, there’s something good waiting for you on the other side of your frustrations.

4. Dive deeper into what you want.
What you want matters! Yet, it takes courage to dive deeper into what YOU want. Soooo many people are living someone else’s desires. That’s not the will of God for you. You are your own person, with your own wants and God Himself will help you bring your heart’s desires to pass.
