Let me ask you a simple question. Do you see yourself the way God sees you? The Father is calling you to have a Biblical self-image. He doesn’t want you to see yourself negatively. He doesn’t want you to see yourself less than how He sees you or think thoughts less than what He thinks about you. As you see yourself the way God sees you, you’re going to find yourself being transformed. Let’s take a look at how God sees you:

1.You are a more than a conqueror.
Romans 8:37 says, “Yet all these things we are more then conquerors, through him who loved us.” As a believer, you have the power to overcome every obstacle, every temptation and anything that comes your way with the help of Holy Spirit. There is nothing you can’t do! In all actuality, you can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens you.

2. You have the mind of Christ.
Philippians 2:5 says“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”Having the mind of Christ means your thoughts are His thoughts. It means your mind is renewed, your heart is renewed and you have kingdom thoughts. You’re becoming like the One you worship. When Satan wants to destroy your identity he will try to mess with your mind first. Keep your mind on the Word of God and let the Holy Spirit guide you.

3. You are one with Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:17 says, “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” You are in union with the Father. Once you accepted Christ into your life, He came to live within you. You are now one flesh with Him. You’re now dead to sin and alive in Christ. You’re, also, united with Him in the resurrection and seated with Him in heavenly places. Nothing can separate you from Christ. It’s a love relationship and friendship that never ends!

4. You are loved.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” The love of God is the best love you can have. It will completely transform, heal and push you into destiny. The Father loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son, so you can live free! His love is unconditional, without limits, never changes and everlasting! His love is what changed my life and caused me to love on others and myself.

I encourage you to see yourself and others through God’s eyes. See what God sees. He views us beyond our failures, mistakes and disappointments. Let God’s opinion of others change your opinions of others. Don’t just like people who like you. Pray for those who don’t pray for you and interact with those who don’t interact with you. A passion for God gives you a passion for people.

Let me say this last thing, once you know your identity, you’ll help others know theirs through love. One of the reasons I love personal prophecy is that it gets you to see the heart of the Father for others. It enables you to love others the way God does. You treat them and pray for them based on God’s promise for their life. Take a small step and ask God to show you whom you should pray for this week? Let your heart guide you.
