Be excited about Your Life
Isn’t it time you were EXCITED about YOUR life? Yes, your life! Not someone else’s life, but yours! God didn’t create you to only be concerned about other people’s lives. He created you to live a joyful and personally meaningful life. This is why King Solomon said this POWERFUL statement in the book of Ecclesiastes, “For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart” (Ecclesiastes 5:20). The New Century Version says, “They do not worry about how short life is, because God keeps them busy with what they love to do.”
Doing What You Love
Are you busy with what you love to do? Or are you just coasting and doing what others want you to do? Life is too short for you to be doing what others want you to do and not what you want to do. In order for you to do what you want to do, you have to KNOW YOURSELF! What are you about? What do you like? What don’t you like? As this year begins, take some time to really reflect on you and your heart’s desires. Don’t have dreams and goals that really mean nothing to you. Don’t do activities that you don’t enjoy. You’ll be wasting your time and downgrading your life.
A Powerful Driving Force
It’s time to live your dream life! God has blessed you and has given you the potential to create an EXTRAORDINARY LIFE! I love something Tony Robbins said,
“There is a powerful driving force inside every human being that, once unleashed, can make any vision, dream or desire a reality.”
God has given you that driving force and it’s called, “WILLPOWER.” You can will yourself to do and be anything you want to be by the grace of God. Just make a decision and let God’s grace empower you to achieve what you set out to do. It’s time for us in the church to recognize and celebrate the power of the human will. It’s part of our human make up and one of the things that makes us like God. This year decide and MAKE 2025 a great year for YOU!
