Get Your Hopes Up!

God wants you to be a prisoner of hope. He wants you captive and locked into an expectation of that which is GOOD! Our saying around Winners Church is, “If it’s not good, it’s not God!” I encourage you to adopt this as one of your proclamations so that you always have your hopes up! 

How can you have a joyful and confident expectation of good, if you think God does bad things? You can’t and He doesn’t! In praising God, David said, “You are good and do good….” (Psalm 119:68). Here’s what I’m leading up to: The goodness of God is the foundation of your hope! 

Truth be told, in a lot of ways the world sucks! Yet, on the other hand, the world is AWESOME! God wants you to plug into the awesome part of living in this world. He wants you to see and fix your mind on the positive and not the negative. He wants you to GET YOUR HOPES UP! Here’s some ways you can do that: 

Limit your bad news intake. 
Let go of things that don’t matter. 
Laugh out loud and often. 
Look positively into your future.

Your future is BRIGHT and BEAUTIFUL! You’ve got to resist the temptation to be pessimistic. Your life and personality should reflect the kingdom you’re apart of. You’re in a kingdom of HOPE and HAPPINESS!! So, be the most upbeat person in the room. Be the person who smiles more than anyone. 

Knowing that goodness and mercy is following you all the days of your life. 
Knowing that all things are working together for your good. 
Knowing that your best days are still ahead. Hooolllaaaa!!!
