Merry Christmas!

When Jesus was born, mankind crossed a threshold and became the recipients of the greatest gift ever given to humanity. After His birth, an angel appeared to some shepherds in Bethlehem who were out in the fields at night watching over their sheep. He said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:10-11, NASB).

Think of it: Jesus was born just for you and me! Christmas is a celebration of God's great love for the people of this world. Jesus Himself confirmed this when He told Nicodemus, 

"God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life." - John 3:16 (NCV)

In Christianity, we have adopted the slogan, "Jesus is the reason for the season." However, in all actuality, Jesus is the season, but YOU'RE 🫵 THE REASON for the season! You are the why to God's what and your salvation was His end goal. 

Look at what Jesus continued to say to Nicodemus, 

"God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him." - John 3:17 (NCV)

You are guiltless in the eyes of God. Jesus saved you! He rescued you from the clutches of Satan, released you from the dominion of sin and restored you to favor with God! This Christmas: 

🎄You get to celebrate the “NOT GUILTY!” verdict over your life. 

🎄You get to celebrate your freedom from the power of sin. 

🎄You get to celebrate the great favor that’s towards you everyday of your life.
