Victory, Peace & Prosperity

When I was in Bible school at RHEMA Bible College, Bro. Hagin would have us lift one hand towards heaven and place the other hand on our heart and say, “For the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.” Then he’d say, “Now lift the other hand and give Him praise!” Praising God for His goodness is one of the greatest things you can do.

“When we complain about our current situation, we remain in it. When we praise God in the midst of difficulty, He raises us out of it.” - Joyce Meyer

The Lord’s Battle
It’s what the people of Judah and Jerusalem did when an army of Syrians were coming to destroy them. In this particular battle, God let them know that the battle is His and they wouldn’t even need to fight. He told them to take their positions and stand. They put the singers before the army and they began to sing, “Praise the Lord! For His mercy endures forever.”

“God makes Himself known through praise.” - Myles Munroe

Praise and Plunder
The very moment they did this, the Lord caused the armies that were coming against them to start fighting among themselves. They literally attacked and killed each other. When the army of Judah got to the lookout point all they saw were dead bodies everywhere. Literally no one escaped.

King Jehoshaphat and his men immediately went to gather the stuff that was left behind. They found a vast amount of supplies, clothing and valuable items. There was so much stuff it took them three days to gather it all. Wow! Now that’s an open door and supernatural increase like never before.

I want to encourage you to spend time praising the Lord for His goodness and mercy. Praise Him in good times and when challenges to your peace and prosperity arise. The Lord will fight for you and give you GREAT VICTORY, PEACE and PROSPERITY.
