Put Your Words to Work
On May 14, between the hours of 2-4am, I heard the “still small voice” of the Holy Spirit. He said, “Put your words to work.” When I heard these words, I was too tired to get up and get my phone to write it down. I had placed my phone on our computer table outside of our room. So, I decided to meditate and memorize the word that I received. Upon pondering the words that I heard, I gained understanding on how we are to put our words to work. My desire is to share with you some of the things I have learned and release a word of power that you may continue to live an outstanding life.
Speak the Word
You have the same Spirit of God in you that created the worlds with words. Therefore, you have Godlike power to put your words to work by speaking things into existence. Speaking daily what God has said in His word is a great place to start. You can start with Scriptures like, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28) and “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:28).
Speak Prophetically
I received a prophetic word many years ago from Pastor Maurice. He said to me, "Behold wealth untold." Since I heard it, I put this word to work by praying it over my life and declaring it. I also make affirmations like, “I’m increasing financially and I’m going to be a millionaire." When I would see things that cost more than I can afford, I would always say, "I'm going to be able to buy this soon." When I'm driving with my family past a big house, I say, "We're going be moving soon into a big home. The place we live is only temporarily." Do the same with the prophetic words you have received and watch them materialize in your life.
Walk it out
It is not enough to put your words to work with speech. You now have to follow it through with action. The good news is Jesus has given you grace to put action to your words. Your dreams and desires that you speak about will manifest with God's help. The Lord is with you and helping you to achieve the things you declared. The only thing you need to do now is begin moving forward. Let me leave you with this scripture from the Apostle Paul: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
