Your Life Matters

I just want to let you know that your life matters. From the day you were born up until now, you have great significance and meaning to this world. Here’s something to chew on: if you and your life didn’t matter you wouldn’t have been born. Just take a moment to really think about that. There’d be no reason for your existence. You’d be a wandering nobody. And that’s not the case! There’s a purpose and point to you. You should live everyday knowing that.

1Know that your life matters and it’s not over.

I love something I first heard from Perry Noble that I say sometimes in my preaching, “If you’re not dead, God’s not done.” There’s a lot more to you and a lot more that God wants to manifest through you. The devil would love to kill you before you finish your race, but you’re not going to let that happen, right? You’re going to do what the Bible says, “…submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

2. Know that your life matters and it’s meant to impact lives.

You were born to impact lives. You were born to make a huge difference in this world. And guess what? You’re already making a difference in the lives of others. Think about all you’ve done for others. Give yourself some grace and congratulate yourself for what you’ve done. By doing this, it’s going to give you the motivation to do more.

3. Your life matters and you’re about to scale up.

You’re going to increase in your capacity and accomplishments. The Bible teaches us that one of the reasons Solomon did as much as he did is because he had “…largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore” (1 Kings 4:29). Another translation says, “…a mind as limitless as the sand on the seashore.” Solomon’s limitless mind caused him to oversee a lot of stuff, own a lot of stuff and orate a lot of stuff.

This is exactly what you’re going to have. A limitless mind. And it’s going to cause you to oversee, own and orate a lot of stuff, too. Get ready to surprise yourself. You’re going to do bigger and better things than you have in the past. You’re going to be a huge success story and everyone is going to want to know how you did it. Get ready! The future is yours and your life matters!
