A.I.M. For Clarity
Clarity is one of the greatest secrets to great and lasting success. You’ve got to know what you want, why you want it and what you’re going to do about it. This kind of clarity makes you passionate and unstoppable.
A Driving Force
Clarity is power. It’s a driving force behind achievement. It will take you from where you are to where you want to be at a rapid pace.
Clarity of purpose was a driving force in the life of Jesus. Our Savior was very clear about His purpose on earth. He knew why He was here and what He was supposed to do. Notice what He said:
“I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for thispurpose I have been sent.” (Luke 4:43)
“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.” (John 12:27)
Then look at what John said about Him:
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)
Jesus was not…I repeat…was not…all over the place. He had a clear focus and accomplished the Father’s will in a short period of time.
<<First Name>>, here’s 3 keys to walking in clarity like Jesus:
A - Ask questions.
During his supernatural encounter with Jesus, Paul aimed for clarity. He asked, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” This is such a simple, yet powerful question to ask the Lord. It will put you on the path of destiny and make you unstoppable.
I - Incorporate structure and strategy to your life.
Do you have structure and strategy in your life? If not, you’re going to be wandering around and not getting much done. Structure and strategy puts you in the playing field of life. You begin to achieve and move rapidly toward the fulfillment of your God-given dreams and life’s purpose.
M - Mind your own business.
Broken focus will always cost you success. Focus on what Jesus told YOU to do and not what He told someone else to do.
There was an occasion when Jesus was discussing with Peter his life's assignment and how his life would end. John was following behind them and he turned around to John and asked Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man?” Jesus gave a clarion response, “What is that to you?” In other words, mind your own business. Jesus continued and said to Peter, “You follow Me.” Mic drop! Lol.
At the end of the day, whether you’re a pastor or a plumber, whether you’re hematologist or a house mom, following Jesus is what matters. Living out your purpose is what counts in this life and in the life to come. So, A.I.M for clarity!
