A Mind-Blowing Experience

“My entire career is a mind-blowing experience,” is what Jennifer Hudson said in a recent article with Essence magazine. At 43, the EGOT star and talk show host went on to say, “God always has a little bit more for you than what you ask for. So, I stay in awe.” She continued, “Every time I come out those double doors that say ‘Jennifer Hudson,’ I think: Is this real? Is this really happening? But that’s why I never sleep. Why sleep if you’re busy living your dream?” 

Has your life been a mind-blowing experience? Are you staying in awe of what God is doing in your life? Are you busy living your dream?  If not, you can be! Fortunately, it’s not too late to live your dream life. It’s not too late to be in awe of what’s going on with you. 

You are Heaven’s superstar created for love, joy, peace and prosperity. An existence that glorifies God and keeps you in your happy place. This is why Jesus said, “…that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). The ERV translation says, “…life that is full and good.” I love that! 

Here’s some next steps for you to take to have a life that is full and good:

1. Decide how YOU want to live. 

This is where the rubber meets the road. You have to DECIDE! No one can decide for you. You have to decide for yourself. In order to do that, you have to know what YOU want out of life and be willing to do what it takes to get there. A lot of people don’t know what they want. Or if they do know, they don’t express it, they suppress it. They think that what they want really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. When, in fact, what they desire is the GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS! (Oh, I just said something right here!)

Use your power of choice and make things happen in Jesus’ name! 

2. Dream BIG! 

You’ve heard about dreaming big all your life. From magazine articles to motivational speakers. The word is out: DREAM BIG! But the question is, have you actually done it? Have you actually let your imagination SOAR and go beyond your current circumstances? Have you actually written down your dreams and goals? If you have, that’s great! Keep dreaming big! But if you haven’t, START TODAY! 

There’s a reason God gave you an imagination. It’s to give you the ability to picture your desires and use the power of your mind to bring those things to pass in your life. It’s Genesis 11 in effect, “…and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them” (Genesis 11:6 AMPC). Another translation says, “Now nothing that they THINK UP will be impossible for them.” So if you want to have a mind-blowing experience, you got to think up some stuff! 

3. Do What it Takes. 

Whatever it is that you want out of life. Whatever it is that’s going to give you that drive and ability to say like Jennifer Hudson, “My entire career is a mind-blowing experience,” do it! 

No more procrastinating. No more waiting for later. You have what it takes. God the Father has filled you with great potential and power. Use it! Manifest your dreams. Manifest your desires. This is your time to ARISE and SHINE!
