Crowned With Confidence

Crowned With Confidence

In this season, God is crowning you with confidence. All the messages you’ve heard this Fall at Winners Church on Sunday morning and all the emails Pastor Patrick and I have sent out are all pointing to one thing - CONFIDENCE!

Jesus - Your Confidence Coach
God the Father is raising up a people who are confident in who they are in Christ Jesus. There is no real confidence without Christ. He is the Chief Cornerstone of confidence. The chief cornerstone is the main stone that holds a building together. Christ Jesus is the One building our confidence and holding it together.

In 1 Corinthians 1:30, Paul says Christ Jesus “…became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” Let me add that He’s also our confidence. This is why Paul also says, “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith...” (Hebrews 12:2). That word finisher means “perfecter.” Jesus is the One who is developing your confidence in Him and in yourself. You and the Lord are one. So, His confidence is becoming your confidence. His strength is becoming your strength.

Hello Courage! Hello Happiness!
In this moment, God is empowering you to say, “Bye-bye low self esteem, hello strong confidence! Bye-bye timidity, hello courage! Bye-bye mental oppression, hello happiness!”

You are rising up and becoming all that you were created in Christ Jesus to be. Here’s some of the things God is giving you confidence in:

1. God is crowning you with confidence to express yourself freely.
I’m not talking about something fleshly. The Word of God forbids that. I mean just being who you uniquely are without any falsehood attached to it. Anyone who knows me, knows I don’t do falsehood. I express myself freely and confidently. God the Father has done a work in me and I absolutely love who I am. God is, also, doing a work in you and you will end up loving your unique self if you don’t already.

2. God is crowning you with confidence that you can do it.
The apostle Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Guess what? You can, too! You can do all the things God has appointed and anointed you to do. Whether it’s being an psychiatrist or a lawyer. A nurse practitioner or a preacher. An information security analyst or a fashion designer. You have been uniquely equipped to do something valuable in the earth. Whatever that something is for you, God is crowning you with the confidence to do it. You may have already begun. If so, I celebrate you! If you haven’t, I encourage you take courage and move forward in Jesus’ name.

3. God is crowning you with confidence to represent Him without compromise.
You cannot forget that you are an ambassador for Christ according to 2 Corinthians 5:20 which says, “Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ…” You live in a crazy world full of compromise. Nevertheless, God is building you up in confidence to represent Christ well. He expects you to stand your ground when it comes to righteousness and moral living.

So, no you don’t have to have sex with a man in order to keep him or a woman to show her that you’re a real man. No, you don’t have to lie to keep your job or steal to make profit. No, you don’t have to turn to the occult to get ahead in life.

Here’s what the Word says, “He who walks with integrity walks securely…” (Prov. 10:9). Therefore, receive the confidence to follow after righteousness and operate in integrity in everything you do. The result? You and your family will always live a confident, care-free and super blessed life.
