I Give You Grace

I Give You Grace

It’s not a secret that Jesus loves you and died for you. But are you equally aware that He favors you? Are you mindful of the fact that Jesus is always giving you grace and that you always have access to it? He gave the woman caught in adultery grace. When others condemned her, He released her from her accusers’ condemnation. He said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more” (John 8:11). All the guilt and shame she felt was gone. Jesus freed her and restored her dignity.

He did the same for Mary Magdalene. This is not often mentioned, but the Bible says she was one of the women Jesus set free “...out of whom had come seven demons” (Luke 8:2). The grace of Jesus brought her deliverance from satanic bondage. He broke her from the grips of the dark world and restored to her the joy of life.

When the Apostle Paul was going through a satanic attack meant to wear him out, Jesus highlighted His grace in Paul’s life. He said, “My grace is sufficient for you, My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). This statement refocused and empowered Paul. It gave him the strength to go on and experience the power of Christ. This is why the apostle Paul testifies later, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

Beloved, I want to let you know that no matter what you are facing, Christ is strengthening you with His grace. He is, also, giving you the power and wisdom to overcome every obstacle, hardship or limitation put in your way. You are coming out on top. The blessing of Deuteronomy 28:13 is over your life. You will be “...the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath...” The favor of Jesus is towards you and your best days are still ahead of you.
