Living in Financial Victory
Let’s cut to the chase. You want a lot of money and God the Father wants you to have a lot money. It’s just that plain and simple. However, if you’re like most people, you’ve had a financial dilemma or difficulty somewhere along the line. Fortunately, it never has to be that way again if you simply tap into your financial covenant.
Let me explain. You and I have a financial agreement with Father God and He has already made assurances through the Abrahamic covenant that you would be blessed financially and not suffer lack. I’m going to give you three essential ways you can tap into your financial covenant. Here are those three ways:
1. Tithing.
As the seed of Abraham, the power of the tithe is on your side and it activates the Abrahamic covenant in your life. For example, I’ve been tithing for many years and I don’t know lack. I know abundance and increase. So much so, people are constantly coming to me for money. But the reality is, we can all be walking in abundance if we’d tap into the Abrahamic covenant through tithing. Here’s how it works: Give God 10% of your gross income consistently and He will make sure you have financial victory. Look at would He said He would do for you,
“I am the Lord All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test. Bring the entire ten percent into the storehouse, so there will be food in my house. Then I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessing after blessing.” - Malachi 3:11 (CEV)
2. Pray.
Every covenant is based on promises made. God has made you a lot of promises about your financial well-being. One way you activate your covenant promises is through prayer. You remind God about what He said in His Word. This is what Solomon did when he was dedicating the temple he had just built. He reminded God about what He said. You can find this prayer of dedication in 1 Kings 8:22-53. Here’s a prayer you can pray that will activate your covenant of prosperity:
Heavenly Father, You are the God of prosperity and incredible increase. I’m asking You to bless me this year beyond my wildest dreams. Bless me financially. Cause me to have financial success in the name of Jesus! Your Word says, “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand” (Deuteronomy 28:8). So, I ask You to command the blessing on me in my storehouses and bless everything that I do. Let my financial cup overflow in the name of Jesus. Let my lap be filled with plenty and my hands overflowing with money! Then I will have the financial success I so desire and glorify You with my prosperity and increase.
Your Word says, “The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us…” (Psalm 115:12) I thank You for being mindful of me. You know the ins and outs of my life. Thank you for promising to bless me financially. I receive Your blessing. I expect financial windfalls and great fortune all year long. Your Word also says, “The Lord shall increase you more and more…” (Psalm 115:14 KJV). Therefore, I expect supernatural increase like I’ve never seen before. I expect my bank accounts to be overflowing with money in Jesus’ name. Amen.
3. Worship.
Your Heavenly Father is El Shaddai. He’s the God of more than enough and He loves to be worshipped. I love something the late Norvel Hayes said in his book, “Worship.” The Lord spoke to him and said, “My children basically love Me, but they live in poverty and sickness and defeat. They don’t live in heaven’s blessings because they don’t worship Me enough.” Bro. Norvel went on to say the Lord rebuked him to for not worshipping enough, “You’re going around the country teaching My Word. You’re teaching faith and confession. You’re praying for the sick, but you need to worship Me more, and you need to teach My people to worship Me more. I’m their God, and they’re My children. If you’ll teach my children to worship Me more, I’ll do great and mighty things for them.”
Bro Norvel concludes the story by saying this, “Now are you ready for this? Since the day I started doing this, I’ve had no financial problems.”
He goes on to say, “When you begin to worship God alone, He will reward you openly. In God, there is no defeat. Whenever you suffer an unsuccessful thing in your life, it is because Jesus is on the outside looking in. He is not involved in it. Anything that Jesus gets involved in will be successful. There are no unsuccessful things in God. Everything in God is successful.”
What I’m leading up to is this: Worship makes a difference. Worship activates your financial covenant. Like Bro. Norvel, financial problems will be a thing of the past. You will experience blessing after blessing. Financial success after financial success. You will see the hand of God move in your life in an incredible way. Prepare for increase!
