The 7 S’s of Financial Success - Part 3
Hey family! I’ve decided to complete our series on, “Money, Money, Money” in written form through today’s blog. This is the final segment of what we’ve been talking about for the last few weeks:
1. Storehouse Some of Your Money.
Every believer should have storehouses. Places where you save some of your money and possessions. There is a such thing as over saving, but there’s also such a thing as undersaving. You don’t want to do either. One shows lack of trust in God and stinginess. The other shows lack of discipline and improper stewardship.
Did you know that God has storehouses? The Bible talks about His storehouses of rain, snow and hail. He has storehouses of wind and waters of the sea. He, also, has storehouses of good things. As imitators of your Heavenly Father, you should have storehouses and put away some of your resources. In fact, God promises to bless your storehouses.
“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand…” - Deuteronomy 28:8
In order for God to bless your storehouses, you have to have storehouses. It can be a piggy bank or an investment account, God will increase it.
Financial experts say your 20’s is the best time to start saving money. One of my biggest mistakes in life was not saving in my 20’s and keep saving in my 30’s and 40’s. I have never lacked, but I would have so much more money and possessions today had I diligently practiced this principle. Maybe that’s your story. Maybe not. If it is, don’t live in shame. Just learn from it and start saving NOW! This a great key to financial success.
2. Sow Financial Seeds.
You may think the need to save makes it okay not to sow. And that is the furthest thing from the truth. Yes, save, but never stop sowing. Sowing financial seeds is a life and kingdom principle that will never end. Look at what your Father said to Noah after the flood was over:
“While the earth remains, SEEDTIME and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night
shall not cease.” - Genesis 8:22
If you want to reap a money harvest, you’ll have to sow financial seeds. It’s just that simple. The Apostle Paul reaffirmed this in the New Testament:
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. - 2 Corinthians 9:6
Yes, you’ve seen some prosperity, but it’s time for you to see more. There is money all around you and waiting to find it’s way into your hands. One of the ways this happens is by giving. Constantly sowing financial seeds will reap you a perpetual financial harvest. Take that important next step and sow a significant seed today:

3. Say So.
Did you know that your words have power and authority? Did you know that things have to obey you? One of those things is money. The more you declare financial success, the more it will be established in your life. Check out this scripture:
“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” - Job 22:28
It’s simple. Whatever you confess will manifest. If you don’t like what you’re seeing financially, start saying something different. It’s time to unleash the power of your words. The truth is, your life follows your words. So, I’m going to give you 5 money affirmations to make daily that will cause money to be established in your life:
Financial success is mine, I accept it now.
I’m a money magnet and I am attracting money now.
Money is coming to me in new and surprising ways.
There's never a shortage of money in my life.
I always have more than enough money.
I love you to life. I declare that God’s great favor is at work and big money is coming your way. Angels are working and bringing the money to you. You are a money magnet and financial success is yours!
