Hello, Righteous!

If you believe Jesus died for your sins and was raised from the dead, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This is how you are to identify yourself and this is who you are. Paul went to establish this truth by saying, “Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh...” (‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬). Paul was teaching us not to look at believers in Christ based on their past or present actions. We live in a world that loves to judge people based on what they have done or are doing.

For the believer, our identity is not based on our past or present actions. But it’s based on what Jesus did on the Cross. Take a moment and praise God! This is good news. You are righteous - you are in right standing with God. You’re not an enemy of God, but a child of God. Because you are righteous, the Father is delighted to see you and hear from you. And that’s not all. Let’s look at three things you can expect because you are righteous:

1. Expect help.

“The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT).‬
When you find yourself in trouble, all you need to do is open your mouth and ask your Father for help. The key here is to open your mouth. The scripture above promised we will be rescued. This is why we should never be anxious or stressed in the face of troubles. As one who is righteous, we are meant to overcome every trouble. When it comes to you versus trouble, I can see the scoreboard shows you’re in the lead with zero losses.

2. Expect an inheritance of land(s)
“The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever” (Psalm 37:29).
This not the time to doubt this scripture. This is the time to believe, listen, do what He says and expect. It is the Father’s will for you to be a land owner. The earth was originally made for those who are righteous. Take a look in the mirror. That’s you! So you can expect to own land, even in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Start this process of ownership by not looking at negative news or statistics. In addition, memorize what the Word of God says. This will build up your faith and move you into manifestation.

3. Expect to be immovable.
“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22).
Look at your neighbor and tell them, “I’m righteous and I cannot be move.” Lol, I'm joking but you get the point. As one who is righteous, you are a force to be reckoned with. You are immovable. You are here to stay. No matter how hard the devil blows and puff, he cannot knock you down. He will not be able to take your legacy from you. Not only that, you shall live long on the earth.

As I close this email, remember that you are righteous. This who you are. This is your identity. Since you are righteous, do not condemn yourself or ask the question, “What’s wrong with me?” Sometimes we are one thought away from the breakthrough we desire to see. For this and many other reasons, think, talk and behave like you're righteous.
