Celebrate December
Today is December 10th and I believe the rest of this month is going to be good and grace-filled days for you and your family. I declare that you will walk through new doors of opportunity, enter new relationships and experience new levels of favor this month. As Pastor Patrick proclaimed for the last two weeks, this is our season of opened doors. I’m going to give you three things you can do to ensure a great December:
1. Expect nothing but good.
Good gifts and good experiences belong to you. Dare to believe that everything is working in your favor. Make a few affirmations each day this month that will correspond with what you believe in your heart:
Something good is going to happen to me today
Only good lies before me
I attract only lucrative, enjoyable and beneficial circumstances.
Today is rich with opportunities and I open my heart to receive them.
2. Don’t worry about anything.
I don’t care what your bills look like. I don’t care how many gifts you have to buy for Christmas or what deadlines you have to meet at work. DO NOT WORRY! Worrying will not make things better, it will only make things worse. I love something Corrie ten Boom said, “Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.” Woooow! So, dare to enjoy each day of this month and not rob today of its strength.
3. Live in the moment.
December is a very busy month in our American culture. People are running here and running there. Doing this and doing that. I want to encourage you to feel, focus and enjoy what you’re doing at any given moment. For example, if you’re out dining with someone don’t be overly conscious of what you’re eating while thinking about working out at the gym the next day. No, live in the moment and enjoy your meal. Tomorrow’s work out will be waiting for you. Lol! Here’s an idea worth considering: YOU WERE MADE FOR NOW! LIFE IS NOW! Abandon yourself to the present moment and you’ll live life deeply.
