Create Your World
We all have dreams and things we want to see come to pass in our lives, but sometimes we’ve taken a passive role in seeing those dreams coming to pass. We can’t do that anymore! We’ve got to become aggressive and purposeful in creating our world.
Did you know that you have the power to create your world? The things you want to see in your life lie in the power of your creative imagination, passionate planning, clear communication and massive action. Let’s explore these four concepts briefly:
1. Creative Imagination.
Colin Wilson once said, “Imagination should be used, not to escape reality, but to create it.” Wow! This quote lets us know that our reality is up to US. We are the masters of our actualities. Through creative thought, we determine what is and what will be. God Himself said about the people building the Tower of Babel, “...and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have IMAGINED they can do will be impossible for them” (Genesis 11:6, AMP). Your imagination will bring you out of the realm of impossibility into the realm of possibility.
2. Passionate Planning.
God is a passionate planner. Everything we see in this world...His world...is the result of passionate planning. Whatever, you want to see in YOUR world has to be enthusiastically mapped out. You need a written set of “next steps” you MUST take to get to get to your goal. Someone once said, “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” And in this season, you are going beyond wishing and daydreaming. You’re going to make some AMAZING things happen!
3. Clear Communication.
In addition to personal positive confessions, you need to be able to clearly communicate what you want to those who will be helping you establish your world. Many times it’s a lack of clear communication to your team (family, banker, staff, friends, etc) that hinders goals and stifles achievements. Before Jesus went back to Heaven, He communicated clearly to His disciples what He wanted and what He expected to see in His world. They did exactly what He clearly communicated. The apostles were so effective in their execution of Jesus’ clear communication that some angry and envious Jews said, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too” (Acts 17:6). Hahahaha!! These Jews were being cry babies because Paul and Silas were getting results they weren’t getting and having an impact on the people they weren’t having impact on. Clear communication is a major key in putting your passionate plans into motion and getting what you want.
4. Massive Action.
Believe it or not, action is the bedrock of success. If you want favorable outcomes for from the use of your creative imagination, your passionate planning and clear communication, you have to have take massive and consistent ACTION!! The Scripture says, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26). You don’t want dead faith. You want living faith. Living faith brought God’s world into existence and living faith will bring your world into existence. Arnold Glasgow once said, “Any idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the brain cell it occupied.” Woooow!!! With that said, let’s take action...MASSIVE ACTION!!
