How To Have A Good Month
Today is April 1st. It’s the first day of a new month and I’m expecting this month to go good for you. Here’s some steps you can take to ensure that you have a good month and feel fully satisfied.
1. Tell yourself that April is going to be a good month.
When you tell yourself that April is going to be a good month, you are releasing your faith and establishing your expectation. You are literally prophesying to your future. Yeah, you get to do that! The Bible says, “You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways” (Job 22:28). So, instead of you letting circumstances announce to you how things are going to be, you must rise up and announce to the circumstances how things are going to be in Jesus’ name.
2. Commit the month to the Father.
The Bible says in Psalm 37:5, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” So, here’s a prayer you can pray to help you commit your way to the Lord this month:
“Father, I commit this month to You. I’m asking you to make this a great month for me. Do for me this month what I cannot do for myself. Give me all the favor, strength and wisdom I will need to have a great month. Thank You for it in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
3. Wake up with excitement.
Dragging yourself out of bed with a “gotta make the donuts” attitude is not going to work. You’ve got to jump out of bed with a “Praise the Lord!” and “Glory! Hallelujah!” on your mouth. Tell yourself every day, “This is going to be a great day today!” When you release your excitement each day, it empowers you and connects you to the grace to win the day. This is why David said, “I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High” (Psalm 9:2).
4. Get things done.
There’s no joy or sense of accomplishment when you let things go undone. There’s many reasons why people do this. Whatever the reason is, they must put that to the side and accomplish the goals.
5. Do random acts of kindness.
The Bible makes a revealing statement, “What is desired in a man is kindness...” (Proverbs 19:22). When you do random acts of kindness, you are showing people God’s love. This is so crucial in the time we’re living in. Your random acts of kindness will cause you to feel good about yourself. More importantly, God’s favor will explode in your life and in the end you will have a very satisfying month.
