Overtaken With Blessings
As of today, there are 35 days left in 2021. Honestly, I’m excited for you. Why? First, because I’m a real optimist. I see life from a positive vantage point instead of a negative vantage point. I’m that guy who sees the cup half full instead of half empty. Secondly, because I believe God has your best interests at heart. Your Heavenly Father is going to help you end the year strong. He’s going to strengthen you in the areas where you’re weak. He’s going to lift burdens off of you that are too heavy for you to carry. I see great things happening for you and loads of blessings coming your way.
Isn’t it true that over the years loads of blessings have come your way in various ways? Why should it be any different now? It won’t be. You were made for more and the blessings of God are going to keep coming to you and your family. I love something Perry Noble said once, “The temptation to settle is often so real because it’s easy to believe God’s promise for others, but then doubt they are true for the person we see in the mirror every day.”
Today, I encourage you to never settle for “immeasurably less” when God has promised you “immeasurably more.” Look at what the Scripture says,
“And all these blessings shall come upon you and OVERTAKE you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.” - Deuteronomy 28:2
In this season, God is going to overwhelm you with His blessings. You’re going to be submerged in the floodwaters of His grace. You’re going to be overtaken by His goodness. He’s going to cause people to give you nice things. Your bills are going to be paid in full. Money is going to reach you and overcome any lack in your life. God is going to give you the upper hand financially. Look at this mind-blowing decree He said to His people through the prophet Amos,
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for My people Israel.” - Amos 9:13-15
This is what God is saying to you today. I encourage you to hold on to this promise from the book of Amos. The blessings of God are coming fast and furious in your life. It’s going to be like days of Heaven on for earth for you and your family. Get ready to be overtaken!
