The Superpower of Faith

The Supernatural Power of Faith

Before the month comes to an end, I want to share with you what I believe the Holy Spirit wants to remind you of and encourage you to apply to your life immediately.

The Woman with the Issue of blood

Some time ago, there was a woman known as "the woman with the issue of blood." She had this ailment for 12 years until she heard about Jesus. After hearing about Him, she said to herself, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well" (Mark 5:28). As the story goes, she found Jesus with a crowd of people on His way to heal Jairus' daughter. She made her way into the crowd, touched His clothes, and was healed immediately. Jesus stopped, looked at her, and said, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction” (Mark 5:34).

Blind Bartimaeus

In another story, there was a man named blind Bartimaeus. He was known to be a blind beggar until he heard that Jesus was passing by where he was sitting. The moment he heard that Jesus was passing by, he shouted, "…Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me" (Mark 10:47)! There were people in the crowd who told Bartimaeus to be quiet, but he shouted even louder until Jesus stopped and commanded him to come to Him. When Bartimaeus reached Jesus, he asked that Jesus would heal him so that he could see. Jesus said, "'Go your way; your faith has made you well.' And immediately, he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road" (Mark 10:52).

The Ten Leppers

The last story I want to share with you is about ten lepers who met Jesus as He visited a certain village. When they saw Jesus, they cried out, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us" (Luke 17:13)! Jesus responded, "Go, show yourselves to the priests" (Luke 17:14). As they went, they were cleansed. However, one of the ten returned to thank Jesus because he had been healed of his leprosy. Jesus answered the man who came to give Him thanks, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."

I shared these 3 stories with you to highlight the superpower of your faith. Your faith has the power to determine what will happen in your life. There's no need to sit and wait. You can get your breakthrough now. You can end this year seeing God work wonders in your life. You can determine what will happen for you in 2025. But the key to all of this is the superpower of your faith. My prayer is that you'll be encouraged to grow and use your faith that you may accomplish the goals you have for 2025. In Jesus' name. Amen!
