Your Soul Already Knows!

Your Soul Already Knows

Let’s be honest. Deep down inside of your soul, you know that you’re amazing! You know that you’re important, exceptional and full of possibilities. Isn’t it time that you let your soul burst forth with the truths that it already knows about itself?

Playing small doesn’t serve you or the world around you. You came to this planet as a gift from God the Father. You were born with beauty, brains and broadness of soul. Smallness and feelings of insignificance come from negative environments, dysfunctional upbringing and demonic thoughts that want to bury your potential into nothingness. But I have good news for you, Jesus came to deliver you from the lies and uncover the dirt that Satan has smeared on parts of your soul. It’s time for what I’m calling “Soul Breakthrough.”

The Apple of God’s Eye
If you look at scripture, this is what David experienced. In Psalm 17, David expressed a lot of confidence in God hearing his prayers, vindicating him and upholding his path of life. After 7 verses of this kind of talk, he says something profound in verse 8:

“Keep me as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings.”

Notice that David didn’t ask God, “Am I the apple of your eye?” He said, “Keep me as the apple of Your eye.” He already knew that he was significant and extremely important to the Father. This is why he expressed so much confidence in God hearing him, protecting him and delivering him from his enemies. He had a soul breakthrough.

Made Amazing
He also expressed this level of knowledge when he said:

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
and that MY SOUL KNOWS VERY WELL.”
- Psalm 139:14

Look at David acknowledging what his soul already knows. Wow! He walked in soul breakthrough. You can do the same if you acknowledge what your soul ALREADY KNOWS!

My Redeemer Lives
Job chapter 19 records complaints Job is making in response to his friend Bildad. In the mist of all his complaing, Job has a soul breakthrough and says,

"For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth."
- Job 19:25

Even in the midst of his trial and complaining, his soul knew something. He knew he had a Redeemer. Someone who would rescue him and who would one day stand on the planet. In the end, the Bible says, “Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning…” (Job 42:12).

You also know that you have a Redeemer. Someone who will rescue you and is coming again. His name is Jesus. Call on Him and He will get you out of trouble. Call on Him and He will make the crooked places straight in your life. Call on Him and you will not be put to shame. Like Job, everything will work out for your good and you will say, “Look what the Lord has done!”
