On Sunday morning as I was waking up, I heard these words in my subconscious mind: “It’s time to enter the wolf stage.” And I saw Genesis 49:27 pass before me.
I knew immediately that this was one of the points for my sermon, “Driving Your Destiny Forward — Part 2.” If you were there this past Sunday, you know how powerful that message was. If you weren’t, you can go listen to it on our YouTube channel, Apple Podcast or Spotify.
I believe those words came straight from the throne of grace. God is speaking to us by His Spirit.
So, what does it mean when God says, “It’s time to enter the wolf stage”? It means several things, and in this email, we’ll start unpacking them.
1. It means it’s time to be aggressive and pursue all that God has for you.
Wolves are not passive hunters. They are aggressive and persistent. They pursue their prey with determination and smart hunting instincts. They’re not dummies—they know how to go after what they want.
God the Father is calling us to have that same kind of determination. We are His elite children, and we should be pursuing our God-given dreams with intensity. We should be aggressive and progressive in this life He has given us.
Are you ready for more? Are you ready for the best that this life has to offer? I know you are.
So get up and PURSUE!!!
The apostle Paul said it best:
“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:14
There’s an upward call! There’s more for you to attain and gain. There’s more for you to score and secure. There are places you haven’t gone, things you haven’t accomplished, and victories you haven’t experienced yet.
Not later—here and now!
2. It means you don’t let anything get in your way.
Wolves recognize obstacles without allowing the obstacle to erase the objective.
The wolf doesn’t pretend there’s nothing in its way. It figures out how to get over it, around it, or through it.
I love this: Obstacles are information—not necessarily instructions to stop.
Think about the apostle Paul:
“For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.” — 1 Corinthians 16:9
Paul saw the door and the opposition simultaneously. But the opposition did not convince him that the opportunity wasn’t from God!
That’s the wolf stage.
You stop asking, “What’s in my way?” and start asking, “How do I get to what God has for me?”
You stop allowing resistance to intimidate you. You stop interpreting every difficulty as a stop sign. If God said GO, you find a way forward!
The wolf stage is when you move from discovery to pursuit.
