One of the greatest pursuits in the Christian life is learning the ways of God. Psalm 103:7 says, “He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.” Israel experienced God’s mighty miracles, but Moses came to know God’s heart. There is a difference between seeing what God does and understanding how He works.
1. God’s Way Is Love
Everything God does flows from His love. Jesus healed the sick, forgave sinners, welcomed the outcast, and laid down His life for us because that is the heart of the Father. When we know God’s ways, we stop questioning whether He is for us. We become confident that He is always motivated by love, mercy, and goodness.
2. God’s Way Is Grace
God doesn’t relate to us based on our performance but through the finished work of Jesus Christ. His grace forgives us, strengthens us, and empowers us to live the Christian life. The more we understand grace, the more we rest in God’s goodness instead of striving to earn His favor. Grace doesn’t make us passive—it transforms us from the inside out.
3. God’s Way Is Faith
Throughout Scripture, God called His people to trust Him before they saw the miracle. Noah built the ark before the rain. Abraham left home before knowing his destination. Peter stepped out of the boat before walking on the water. God’s ways often require us to believe first and see later. Faith opens the door for God to do what only He can do.
The more we know God’s ways, the more we become like Him. His love shapes our relationships, His grace changes our hearts, and His faith leads us into a life of confidence and victory.
God’s works can amaze us, but His ways will transform us.
