The more time you spend with someone, the more you begin to understand how they think, what they value, and how they respond in different situations. The same is true with God. As we walk with Him, read His Word, and listen to the Holy Spirit, we begin to discover His ways. The more we know His ways, the more confidently we can follow Him.
Here are three more ways of God that will strengthen your faith and deepen your walk with Him:
4. God’s Way Is Vision
God is a God of vision. He never leads His people aimlessly. Throughout Scripture, He gave men and women a picture of what could be before it ever became reality. He showed Abraham a nation while he was childless. He gave Joseph dreams before he ruled Egypt. He showed Joshua the Promised Land before the battle was won. God often reveals the destination before He unfolds the journey.
Vision gives us hope, direction, and perseverance. It keeps us moving forward when circumstances try to convince us to quit. Proverbs 29:18 (NASB) says, “Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is one who keeps the Law.” God wants His people to live with vision. When He gives you a promise, hold on to it. His vision for your life is always bigger than your present circumstances, and He is faithful to bring His plans to pass.
5. God’s Way Is Hope
God’s way is hope. He never leaves His children without a future. Even when circumstances seem impossible, He speaks words of life, promise, and victory. God specializes in bringing beauty from ashes, strength from weakness, and triumph from setbacks. When we know His ways, we refuse to give up because we know He is always working for our good. Our hope is not based on circumstances—it is anchored in the faithfulness of God.
6. God’s Way Is Generosity
God is a generous Father. He doesn’t give reluctantly—He gives joyfully and abundantly. He gave His Son for our salvation, His Spirit to live within us, and every spiritual blessing in Christ. As His children, we reflect His heart when we live with open hands. Generosity isn’t just about finances; it’s also about giving our time, encouragement, kindness, forgiveness, and resources to bless others. We can never out-give God because generosity is simply His way.
Every step we take with the Lord helps us know Him more deeply. As His ways become our ways, we begin to live with greater vision, walk in unshakable hope, and give more generously. That’s the kind of life that reflects Jesus to the world.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we continue to experience the presence of God and learn His Word for our lives.
