Free, Powerful & Untouchable
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love…” Colossians 1:13
You have been delivered from the power of darkness and transferred into the Kingdom of Christ. You were formerly incarcerated, held captive and bound by the chains of darkness. You were out of control and had no say so. But now that you believe in Jesus, you are saved, born again and the power of darkness no longer has you under it’s control. That is something to celebrate and greatly consider. You are free, powerful and untouchable. Let’s explore this further.
Free
When Jesus died, He defeated the power of sin and death. Breaking it’s hold over your life and setting you free. Addictions, sinful habits, sickness, disease, mental disorders and premature death have no place in your life. You are no longer held captive by these things. You are now a product of grace, a child of freedom. What needs to happen now is you believe this and speak it over your life. Walk freely and unafraid.
Powerful
After Jesus set you free, He gave you power. You are now more powerful than the power of darkness. The scriptures declared, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19 21stCKJV). For example, you have authority to tell evil spirits that try to tempt or seduce you to stop and leave. You have great strength in your words to declare long life over your body. I want to encourage you to open your mouth and use the power you have been given.
Untouchable
After you were set free and empowered, you have been placed into the Kingdom at the right hand of God in Christ. This makes you untouchable. You don’t have to be concerned about falling victim to the power of darkness because you are seated in a place of divine protection and covering. Your position in Christ gives you dominion here on earth - making it possible to walk in destiny and have great success. The only way you can experience defeat is by believing the lies of the enemy. Therefore, don’t believe it. Receive the truth that you are in Christ. This is your home and your position and nothing can remove you from this place of power.
I want to encourage you to feed on these things. Think on these things. They will give you great understanding and cause you to walk in the victory that has been made for you.
