You Are Ready For More Pt. 1
Aren’t you tired of always being told to get ready for this and get prepared for that? How about you approach life with this Biblical notion: You are already prepared and ready for MORE!!!
See Yourself Differently
This will be a game changer in how you see yourself and how you do life. Let me say that again…this will be a game changer in how you see yourself and how you do life. No longer are you going to see yourself as some undone, inadequate and incomplete person. You are going to see yourself as qualified, clever and a skillful individual. Believe it or not, you are smart, eager and ready for more!
Born for This Moment
At one point in her reign as Queen, Esther didn’t think she was ready for the task of saving her people from sudden annihilation. She didn’t think she had the kind of favor she needed to get an audience with her husband, the King of Persia. He was in his inner court and it was illegal for him to be disturbed. Death was the punishment for any violation of this law. Unless the king put out his golden scepter and showed mercy and grace to the intruder.
Nevertheless, her older cousin Mordecai assured her that she was ready for the task of intervening for her people. He warned her not to be silent and reluctant to act. He encouraged her with these famous words:
“…Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” - Esther 4:14
In other words, you’re very purpose of receiving favor to become the Queen of Persia may have been primarily for this one moment in time. Mordecai was exhorting to set aside her personal fears and take her place in God’s purpose. In short, he was telling Esther that she was ready…ready for more!
Today, I encourage you to set aside your personal fears and take your place in God’s plan and purpose for your life. See yourself as talented, gifted and FULLY EQUIPPED for whatever God-given task is ahead of you. You can do it! For, in truth, you are ready for more!
