You Won’t Break My Soul

Music icon Beyoncé has another hit out called “Break My Soul.” It’s all the rave among her fans and the people who love her music. The hook to the song is, “You won’t break my soul.” People love singing and dancing to this amazing beat that goes along with the hook.

What Satan Wants To Do
Here’s what interesting…as I was waking up Wednesday morning, the Holy Spirit put the title of her song in my spirit showing me how the believers need to be singing and saying to the devil, “you won’t break my soul.” The truth is, the devil wants to break your soul. He actually wants to shatter your self-worth, kill your ambition and fill your mind with worrisome thoughts about the future. He’s an architect at destroying marriages and fragmenting families. Like Jesus told Peter, “…Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat…” (Luke 22:31). The good news is, he won’t!

Talk to the Devil
The Bible says that “the prince of this world is judged” and “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” Satan is the biggest loser out there. You have to see him that way and know that you are in the winning position over him and his demons.

You have to tell them, “You won’t break my soul.” Tell them, “You can’t have my marriage, my money, my kids, my body or my future.” Say, “Satan, get out of here!” This is called resisting the devil and dismissing his treachery in your life. His only choice is to run from you and leave you alone. You will literally stop him in his tracks.

You Win!
Your authority in Christ is great and the victory is truly yours. It’s not a “make believe” victory. It’s real, powerful and backed by Heaven. Satan has no edge over you. You have the edge over him and you are unbreakable in Christ Jesus!
